My Story
A Girl With A Dream.
Growing up in a strict Christian household with two hard working Haitian parents. Dreams of pursuing a career in makeup was completely unheard of, but believing that this was the path meant for her Baby took a leap of faith and diverted from her parents dreams of her in the medical field, and set out to become a makeup artist despite her parent's disapproval. Her journey began in 2006 when she enlisted in school at “Hollywood Institution of Beauty Career" for the Aesthetician course. Once she completed school in 2007, she landed her first job in the makeup industry as an “Beauty Advisor” for Sephora, all while continuously applying for M.A.C Cosmetics with hopes of on day becoming a M.A.C Girl. After many applications and no call backs, finally in 2011 her dream came true she finally became a M.A.C... and YES!!! it took almost FIVE years to achieve. Being a M.A.C girl for those 7-years was her most valuable achievement at that moment and she was grateful to have been a part of an amazing family and was able to experience and learn all that she had learn from them, but she wanted more and she knew there was more instore for her, in her makeup artistry journey, she parted ways with the company and set out to work for herself as a Freelance Makeup Artist. Six months after leaving M.A.C Cosmetics she landed her first production job on the set with Ty Dolla $ign and Ludacris for the "Vitamin D" music video. Not stopping there for the next four years she’s worked continued to work with multiple celebrities such as Cardi B, Remy Ma, Gucci Mane, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Da Baby, Dj Khaled, Megan the Stallion, Lil Baby, B.o.B, Lil Pump, Pitbull, J Balvin, The Dream, Trey Songz, Drake, Chris Brown, Fabulous, Nicki Manji, Migos, Bad Bunny, Nicky Jams, Akon, Wiz Khalifa, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Pump, Rick Ross, Meek Mills, City Girls, Ot Genasis, Saweetie, V Bozeman, Alkaline, Kranuim and may more. Also, during those 4 years Baby took her talents internationally by being the first to hold a Master Class in Kingston, Jamaica for the first annually Glamcon makeup convention. All while traveling to Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, and Haiti during the Caribbean Carnival to apply makeup for the beautiful women “playing mas”. With all that she’s achieved Baby’s biggest accomplishment was opening her “store front” Makeup Studio in August of 2020 in her hometown Fort Lauderdale, Fl. This journey wasn’t easy, but believing in it has gotten Baby this far, with hopes that you will continue on believing in the girl with a dream who never stopped trusting her journey.
