My Story
A Girl With A Dream.
Growing up in a strict Christian household with two hardworking Haitian parents, pursuing a career in makeup was completely unheard of. Creativity was not considered a career path, and Baby was expected to follow a more traditional route—one her parents envisioned for her in the medical field.
But believing that makeup artistry was the path God had destined for her, Baby took a leap of faith. Despite her parents’ disapproval, she chose to follow her own dream.
Her journey began in 2006 when she enrolled at the Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers, where she studied Aesthetics. After completing her education in 2007, she landed her first job in the beauty industry as a Beauty Advisor at Sephora. While working there, she remained laser-focused on her ultimate goal—becoming a M.A.C Artist—submitting application after application with unwavering hope.
After years of rejection and no callbacks, her perseverance finally paid off. In 2011, nearly five years later, Baby’s dream became a reality when she was hired by M.A.C Cosmetics. And yes—it took almost FIVE years to achieve.
Being a M.A.C Girl for seven years became one of the most valuable chapters of her career. She was grateful to be part of such an iconic brand and family, gaining priceless education, discipline, and artistry that shaped her into the artist she is today. Yet deep down, she knew there was more in store for her journey.
Trusting God once again, Baby made the bold decision to part ways with M.A.C and step out on her own as a Freelance Makeup Artist.
Just six months after leaving M.A.C, she landed her first major production job—working on set with Ty Dolla $ign and Ludacris for the “Vitamin D” music video. From there, she never looked back.
Over the next four years, Baby continued to build her name, working with an impressive roster of artists including Cardi B, Remy Ma, Gucci Mane, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, DaBaby, DJ Khaled, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, B.o.B, Pitbull, J Balvin, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Drake, Chris Brown, Fabolous, Nicki Minaj, Migos, Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam, Akon, Wiz Khalifa, Moneybagg Yo, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, City Girls, O.T. Genasis, Saweetie, V. Bozeman, Alkaline, Kranium, and many more.
During this time, Baby also took her talents internationally, becoming the first makeup artist to host a Master Class in Kingston, Jamaica for the inaugural GlamCon Makeup Convention. Her work carried her across the Caribbean, traveling to The Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, the Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos, and Haiti, where she provided glam for women “playing mas” during Caribbean Carnival celebrations.
With all that she accomplished, Baby’s greatest achievement came in August 2020, when she opened her very own storefront Makeup Studio in her hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida—a full-circle moment that honored her faith, sacrifice, and persistence.
This journey was not easy. But belief, faith, and consistency carried her this far. Baby hopes that you will continue believing in the girl with a dream—the one who never stopped trusting her journey.
And she’s here to tell you:
this ride is just getting started.
